Xacti VPC-E1 Arrives

Get the required background in an old post.
Fun. Manual way too big. No sd card included.
Somehow I quickly put it in 'audio only mode'. That was confusing!

Small. Exciting video. Pretty easy to operate.

Video coming to a blog near you!

expresso, take 4

I've been informed by sources known to have been reliable on one or more occasions that this device makes great coffee. There is even a review in Single Serve Coffee to back this assertion up.
'Espresso', properly understood, is not a technique, but a mission statement. It only means some technique whose goal is a cup of coffee brewed expressly for one person's cup. Assuming it works, the Aerobie is generation four of espresso machines -- the pre-war flip device, the stove top steam device, the $500 (low end) machines most often called 'espresso' machines, and now the Aerobie. I have yet to prove that their coffee machines work as well as their flying machines, but at $30 or so its worth the chance.

Sanyo Sanyo:: Xacti VPC-E1 6MP Waterproof MPEG4 Camcorder

I've been looking for the right video camera. Quite a challenge since I'd like professional quality the size and price of a pin.
For many people, the Flip may be the bee's knees, but I'd like to study some underwater issues -- duck dives, kayak rolls, trout, hatches.
I just ordered this Sanyo VPC-E1 in blue. As far as I can see, its only competition is the same model in white.
Other approaches to inexpensive youtube quality video + some underwater capacity all depend upon underwater housing. Not for me. We shall see.
